BSP announces sponsorship of Amical Football Club

Bank South Pacific (Vanuatu) Limited has gladly announced its naming rights sponsorship agreement with Amical Football Club last Wednesday. 


BSP's Head of Retail and Marketing, Moana Korikalo said, "The bank is delighted to support football through Amical as we believe that we can help support the development and success of the players on and off the field."

"We are pleased to be the naming sponsors of the club as our support not only helps but also goes in line with our core values of professionalism, quality, people, community and teamwork by which we can work closely together with players and the club management."

The Vision of the new Amical Club has always been to establish all key components of a Football club which includes:

  • Run consistent and professional Youth development programs
  •  Achieve self-sustainable financial independence
  •  Incorporate into each program key Values of Respect, Leadership, professionalism

"With the support of BSP, achieving our mutual goals of Respect, Leadership, and professionalism will be realised. Football being the major sport in the country has the potential not only to produce top class players, but more importantly, foster values that will breed role models for the community to aspire to," Amical Executive member George Regenvanu.

Amical will now have BSP Soccer Sevens, a tournament which includes ages 5 - 16 run parallel with the Azure Academy which leads into the BSP Amical FC senior team, a complete pathway for the fortunate players who will fit the criteria.
