Edward Yee appointed as BSP Vanuatu Country Head

BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP) has announced the appointment of Edward Yee as their new Country Head for BSP Vanuatu Limited.

Mr. Yee has taken over to lead BSP operations in Vanuatu following the Vanuatu Country Head vacancy since August 2022.

He is a Fijian national and is a career banker with over 30 years of banking experience across Fiji and Samoa. He was the Head of Corporate in BSP Samoa before appointed as Vanuatu Country Head.

In his previous role as Head of Corporate in Samoa, he was instrumental in assisting with the growth of its business; notably achieving and strengthening BSP’s number one position in market shares for loans and deposits in 2018.

Prior to joining BSP Samoa, Edward held the position of Head of Business Banking with Westpac Samoa. Before this, he was the Area Manager, Western and Northern Divisions, with Westpac Fiji from 2011 to 2014. Before he rejoined Westpac Fiji in 2014, he was the General Manager Customer Relations for HFC Finance in Fiji, overseeing its Sales and Customer Service departments; a position he held for 3 years from 2008 to 2011.

Edward has commenced in his new role as BSP’s Vanuatu Country Head in December 2022.

His appointment reflects BSP’s continued commitment to promoting well experienced and qualified employees to senior management roles.
